High turbidity values can indicate that there is a large amount of pollutants entering the seawater, such as sediment, suspended particles, organic matter and chemicals. Monitoring turbidity values can help protect marine ecosystems and prevent marine pollution. Seawater contains various salts and chemical substances, and the Turbidity Sensor needs to have good corrosion resistance to ensure long-term stable operation. The range of turbidity in seawater is wide, and the sensor needs to have high-precision measurement capabilities to accurately measure changes in water quality with different turbidity. Measuring turbidity in seawater also requires the sensor to have anti-pollution capabilities to prevent impurities from affecting the sensor, because there may be pollutants such as suspended solids and organic matter in seawater.
