Oxidation-reduction potential, or ORP for short. Water quality ORP is a comprehensive indicator for evaluating environmental conditions. In water, each substance has its own unique redox characteristics. The higher the redox potential, the stronger the oxidation, and the lower the potential, the weaker the oxidation. Positive potential indicates that the solution shows certain oxidative properties, while negative potential indicates that the solution shows reductive properties. Water quality ORP sensors are usually used on surface water such as lakes or rivers. ORP reflects the ability of surface water to purify or decompose organic pollutants. When the ORP in a body of water is high, it means that the water contains a lot of oxygen, and some bacteria that break down dead tissue and pollutants work more efficiently in aerobic conditions. Generally speaking, the higher the ORP value, the stronger the water decomposition ability, indicating the healthier the water body. In the sediment at the bottom of these water bodies, there are many bacteria that can decompose the organic matter in the sediment and consume a large amount of oxygen, resulting in a decrease in the oxygen content of the lower water body, thereby reducing the ORP value. So how to measure the ORP value? Usually we use an online water ORP electrode sensor, its principle is the oxidation-reduction potential method, and the measurement range is ±2000mV. The Analog Orp Sensor and the analog PH Sensor can connect to our pH ORP Controller to display the value and make control.
Features
On-line compound ORP electrode, the indicator electrode is made of platinum sheet
Flat platinum is easy to clean and polish, suitable for drinking water, surface water, etc.
The shell is ABS, the structure is firm, and there are mounting threads at the beginning and end
The reference of the analog ORP Sensor is a large-area annular porous tetrafluoromembrane with a fast permeation rate
The measurement range is -1500mV~+1500mV, meeting the ORP measurement needs of most industries
