ORP sensors are commonly used for ORP measurement in the swimming pool industry. Monitor the oxidation-reduction potential of water to assess the oxidation or reduction of water. In swimming pool water, maintaining proper water quality is critical to the health and comfort of swimmers. This Digital ORP Sensor is different from the Analog Orp Sensor. Its measurement is more accurate. It has built-in RS485 communication and can be directly networked. The measurement accuracy is 0.1% and the resolution is 1mV. Usually the parameters that need to be measured for swimming pool water quality are pH, ORP and residual chlorine, and sometimes turbidity is also monitored. The digital ORP Sensor can monitor the oxidation-reduction potential change of the pool water. When the water quality is abnormal, it means that there is a malfunction or other problems in the equipment. For example, an ORP value that is too high may indicate excessive disinfectant dosing, while an ORP value that is too low may indicate insufficient disinfection effect or the presence of other pollutants. Proper redox state is critical to prevent corrosion, scaling and microbial growth. By adjusting the dosage of chemicals in the water in time, the balance of the water body can be maintained and a clear, transparent and comfortable swimming environment can be provided.

The ORP value of swimming pool water is usually between 650-750mV. This range can be used to judge whether the water quality is suitable. If the ORP value is lower than 650mV, it means that there may be too many organic substances in the water, and disinfection measures need to be strengthened; if the ORP value is higher than 750mV, it means that there may be too many oxidants in the water, and the dosage of disinfectants needs to be appropriately reduced. At the same time, it is also necessary to combine other indicators such as pH value and free residual chlorine to comprehensively judge whether the water quality meets the standard.
