Why should the drinking water industry monitor the salinity value of water quality?
1. The salinity value is related to the growth and reproduction of microorganisms in the water. Excessively low salinity will lead to the growth of bacteria and microorganisms, and high salinity water may have an inhibitory effect, reducing the risk of microbial contamination in water.
