These industrial pH probes for sewage are analog sensors that integrate glass pH electrodes and reference electrodes. They comprise pH-sensitive glass membranes and reference electrodes, enabling simultaneous measurement of both the pH values and temperatures of sewage. The industrial pH probes for sewage boast several advantages, including the ability to directly measure sewage containing suspended solids or sediment without the need for filtering or stirring. Additionally, they can be used in high-concentration salt solutions without experiencing interference.
The operating principles of these pH probes rely on the electrochemical reactions occurring at the glass membranes. When the membranes come into contact with aqueous solutions, hydrogen ions (H+) in the water interact with ions within the glass membranes (typically not oxygen ions O2- but rather sodium ions or other mobile ions, depending on the glass composition), creating potential differences. These potential differences are directly proportional to the hydrogen ion concentrations in the water, allowing for the determination of the sewage's pH values by measuring these potentials.
The reference electrodes serve as stable reference points, providing constant potentials for accurately measuring the potential differences. By connecting the pH probes to our pH/ORP controllers, users can access additional functionalities and enhance their water quality monitoring capabilities.

The features of Industrial pH probes and sensors for sewage are as follows:
High-performance PPS plastic shell encapsulation, providing high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance;
Low impedance hemispherical glass heads, featuring high strength and not easily breakable;
Users can choose the built-in temperature resistance for temperature detection and compensation;
The reference of the analog pH probes adopts a large-area annular porous PTFE membrane;
The reference probes are Ag/AgCl, filled with saturated KCl + excess KCl crystals;
There are 1-inch NPT mounting threads at both ends, making installation easy;
Standard low noise leads, with the length of analog pH probes customizable;
If used reasonably and maintained correctly, the service life of the online industrial pH probes is relatively long.

Use and MaintenanceThe steps to use and maintain the Industrial pH probes and sensors for sewage are as follows:
Install the probes: Install the probes in the liquid and ensure that all probes are fully in contact with the liquid.
Calibrate the probes: Before use, the probes need to be calibrated to ensure accuracy.
Clean the probes: Clean the sensors regularly to avoid contamination and clogging.
Replace the probes: When the probes fail or are damaged, they need to be replaced in a timely manner.
