The PH Sensor is a sensor used to detect the hydrogen ion concentration in the measured solution and convert it into a corresponding output signal. Usually composed of chemical part and signal transmission part. pH sensors are often used to measure the pH value of solutions and water quality. Its types are divided into pen type, portable type and online type. Daruifuno's pH sensor is specially designed for online pH measurement, which means it can continuously monitor the pH value of water quality in real time 24 hours a day. Temperature has a certain impact on pH measurement. Therefore, if the temperature of the user's measured solution is unstable and fluctuates greatly, it is necessary to choose a pH electrode with a temperature sensor. Daruifuno's ASP300 series pH sensors, ASP300V does not have a temperature sensor, ASP300N has an NTC10K temperature sensor, and ASP300T has a PT1000 temperature sensor. A pH electrode with a temperature sensor can measure temperature and compensate for temperature when connected to a pH controller.
How pH sensor works
A hydrogen ion glass electrode and a reference electrode are used to form a primary cell. During the ion exchange process between the glass membrane and the hydrogen ions in the solution being measured, the hydrogen ion concentration in the solution is detected by measuring the potential difference between the electrodes, thereby measuring the hydrogen ion concentration in the solution being measured. Measure the pH of a liquid.
Structure of combination pH electrode
ASP300 is a composite electrode. Compared with the original two independent half-cell electrodes, the composite electrode is easy to operate and widely used. In the composite electrode, the pH-sensitive glass electrode is located in the middle and is surrounded by a reference electrode filled with reference electrolyte. What's more convenient is that the composite electrode also adds a temperature probe, which can perform temperature measurement and compensation. This is a three-in-one pH electrode.
