The amount of chlorophyll a of phytoplankton can be used to quickly evaluate the population biomass. The greater the amount of chlorophyll a, the more serious the eutrophication of the water body. The absorption spectrum of chlorophyll in the visible light band has a significant absorption peak at blue light and red light, and the position of the absorption peak and the magnitude of the extinction value vary with the type of chlorophyll. One of the regions with the strongest absorption spectrum is in the red light part with a wavelength of 640nm-660nm, and the other is in the blue-violet part with a wavelength of 420nm-450nm. It hardly absorbs green light, so chlorophyll is green under transmitted light, but it reflects It is red under light, and this red light is the fluorescence emitted by chlorophyll after being excited by light.
    Daruifuno Chlorophyll Sensor electrode uses this fluorescence method feature to excite chlorophyll a in water through a 470 nm light source to generate fluorescence, and measure the fluorescence intensity in the range of 660-700 nm to calculate the concentration of chlorophyll a in water. The concentration of chlorophyll a in water quality is related to the safety of water quality. In the detection of chlorophyll a in water quality, the chlorophyll electrode is used to determine whether the content of chlorophyll a in water quality is normal, so as to reduce the harm caused by algae. The chlorophyll analyzer can be used for fresh water or seawater.
