Peracetic acid is usually used as a disinfectant in medical treatment, food processing, cosmetics, beverages, water treatment and other occasions. It has a broad-spectrum bactericidal effect, can effectively eliminate bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores, and has a high killing effect on a variety of pathogenic microorganisms. Because peracetic acid has the characteristics of low toxicity, low residue, easy degradation, and no pollution to the environment, it is widely used in disinfection and sanitation in various fields. Daruifuno's P10 Peracetic Acid Sensor performs precise amperometric measurements in real time, ensuring efficient process control. And according to the detection result of the peracetic acid probe, connecting the controller can keep the content of peracetic acid within a certain safe range.

Water treatment using peracetic acid usually has the following steps:
1. Pretreatment: First, the water needs to be pretreated, including removing suspended solids, adjusting pH, etc. This can be achieved by precipitation, filtration, neutralization, etc.
2. Add peracetic acid: Add appropriate amount of peracetic acid to water. The concentration usually used is 100-500ppm, and the specific concentration can be adjusted according to water quality and treatment requirements.
3. Reaction time: Allow peracetic acid to react with organic pollutants in water, and sterilize and oxidize. Reaction times generally range from a few minutes to several hours, depending on water quality and treatment requirements.
4. Neutralization: After the reaction, the water needs to be neutralized to ensure the neutrality of the water. Neutralization can be done with alkaline substances such as sodium hydroxide or sodium bicarbonate.
In addition to peracetic acid sensor, we also provide other disinfection sensors such as Chlorine Sensor, Total Chlorine Sensor, Chlorine Dioxide Sensor, Ozone Sensor, Hydrogen Peroxide Sensor, etc. If you are interested in our products, please contact us.
