The OPD700 and OPD710 series are advanced fluorescent dissolved oxygen sensors designed for high-precision, real-time monitoring in aquatic environments. With robust titanium alloy construction, they provide reliable performance in marine and wastewater applications. The OPD700 is optimized for aquaculture, while the OPD710 excels in industrial wastewater systems.
Equipped with RS485 Modbus-RTU digital output, these sensors integrate seamlessly with industrial control systems and data acquisition equipment.
The sensors use fluorescence quenching technology. Blue light excites a fluorescent layer at the sensor tip, with oxygen molecules quenching the fluorescence proportionally to their concentration. This optical method provides superior stability compared to electrochemical sensors, with no oxygen consumption and minimal maintenance.
