The Digital pH Sensor is an instrument used to measure the pH of water or other liquids. Its principle is based on the change of the acid-base indicator to measure the pH of the liquid. The PH Sensor changes the color of the indicator by contacting the liquid with an acid-base indicator, and then measures the concentration of hydrogen ions (H+) in the liquid through an electrode to determine the pH of the liquid. The working principle of the pH sensor is relatively simple, but it is very important for environmental monitoring. The DPH790 is a digital pH sensor with RS485 interface, it is different from the analog pH sensor.
The role of pH sensors in environmental protection mainly includes the following aspects:
1. Monitoring the pH of the water body: PH sensors can be used to monitor the pH of the water body, so as to detect abnormalities in the pH of the water body in time, so as to take timely measures.
