The online? COD Controller meter for water quality mainly detects the amount of oxygen required when organic matter in water samples is oxidized by strong oxidants. This indicator is an important parameter for measuring the degree of organic pollution in water bodies, and is usually used to evaluate the pollution status of water bodies and the effect of water treatment processes. COD analyzers are widely used for the determination and early warning of chemical oxygen demand in tap water and factory water to help evaluate water quality. The DUC2-COD online COD controller is used with the COD351 Optical UV COD Sensor. It does not require reagents, is pollution-free, economical and environmentally friendly, can monitor water quality online continuously, and automatically compensate for turbidity interference. The advantage of using it with a controller is that the self-cleaning function can be set on the controller. The COD Sensor comes with a cleaning brush, and the cleaning time and cleaning interval can be set on the controller to realize the underwear automatic cleaning function. Daruifuno online COD controller can also realize the numerical conversion of BOD. You only need to set the factor to switch the BOD value. In addition, this COD online analyzer also has two 4-20mA current outputs, which can realize control or output functions. The controller supports wide voltage power supply and has time and historical data recording functions, making it very suitable for on-site use.
Usually, the detection principle of traditional water quality COD instruments usually adopts potassium dichromate method or potassium permanganate method. These methods are to react with organic matter in the water sample through strong oxidants, consume a certain amount of oxidants, and the calculate the COD value in the water sample by measuring the remaining amount of oxidants. The Optical COD Sensor does not require reagents and can quickly and in real time measure COD value in the water. Of course, the accuracy is worse than that of traditional methods. However, the overall measurement is the trend of COD changes to prompt the addition of appropriate measures for adjustment. In addition to being able to measure and display COD values. The turbidity value is used as compensation and cannot be used as a basis for accurate measurement. The value of TOC and BOD are converted from the values of COD.
